Laura Conrad, MSW is a Senior Medicaid Consultant at the Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC) and a behavioral health care leader with over 20 years of experience in government administration in child serving systems including Medicaid and child welfare. She has experience in behavioral health policy and services design, development, and implementation, with extensive experience in Medicaid authority and financing, managed care, and contract and project management, as well as Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment litigation. Prior to joining TAC, Ms. Conrad worked for MassHealth, serving as the interim court compliance officer for Rosie D. v. Romney. Since joining TAC, Ms. Conrad has worked on projects focused on designing, operationalizing, and implementing Medicaid Supportive Housing services. Her work also focuses on providing expertise at the state and federal levels identifying policy, programmatic, and financing strategies aimed at improving access to care for youth with behavioral health conditions as well as those with co-occurring autism and behavioral health conditions. She recently supported Alabama to develop a multiyear strategy to support their ongoing implementation of their intensive home-based behavioral health services.
